The following is a brief description of Brent Fikowski’s job at CrossFit.
CrossFit is a fitness company which offers its members various programs including “Crossfit” which consists of several different workouts designed to improve physical fitness and overall health. These workouts are performed using equipment such as treadmills, weight machines, and other types of exercise equipment.
Many of these workouts are based around specific exercises or movements. For example, one workout might involve squats while another involves pushups.
In addition to the workouts themselves, CrossFit also provides classes through which members can learn how to perform these exercises and movements. These classes are usually held once per week and they last anywhere from twenty minutes up to two hours depending upon the level of instruction offered.
Classes typically consist of a series of drills and exercises with a focus on improving certain aspects of strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, coordination and much more.
Brent Fikowski was hired as the Head Trainer for CrossFit. His primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of training and supervision of the staff within CrossFit gyms.
Additionally, he oversees the development and implementation of new training methods, which may include but are not limited to:
*New equipment and facilities (e.g., changing rooms)
*Training methodologies (e.g., progressive overload)
*Educational materials (e.g., workout of the day)
*Partner programs (e.g., CrossFit affiliates)
Brent Fikowski is also an accomplished fitness trainer in his own right having developed his skills and knowledge through years of experience. He routinely provides training sessions for private clients as well as group classes at various locations around the world.
His work can also be seen in the pages of various fitness magazines like MuscleMag International. In addition, he has appeared as a subject matter expert on several TV shows and he also served as a judge on a recent reality fitness competition show.
Brent Fikowski’s Training Philosophy
While CrossFit is designed to be a no-nonsense type of training program, Fikowski believes that people should first set goals for themselves before beginning any training routine. He says that people should be able to clearly articulate what they want to get out of their training as well as prepare themselves both mentally and physically before starting.
He also says that it is important to remember to enjoy the process as well as setting goals because if you don’t enjoy the training, you won’t stick with it long enough to see any benefits which defeats the purpose altogether.
Furthermore, Fikowski says that people should avoid comparing themselves to others in their fitness training because doing so can lead one to become frustrated and perhaps even give up when they fail to match the accomplishments of others. Instead, he suggests that people should concentrate on the goals that they have set for themselves and not those of anyone else.
CrossFit is a system of training that anyone can benefit from and it’s important to set goals appropriate to your own fitness level. His advice is sure to benefit people who are new to fitness as well as seasoned competitors.

CrossFit is an extremely popular sport that is growing in participants all over the world. Each year, the top CrossFit athletes from around the globe compete at a variety of events in their respective regions.
The winners of these competitions then advance to the annual CrossFit Games.
The CrossFit Games are held every summer at the Home Depot Center (formerly the Home Depot Center) in Carson, California. There are typically about 200 competitors that participate in the games and they are divided into different age groups and gender categories.
The top athletes and teams from the United States typically compete against each other at the North American Regional which is held in the United States each year. However, athletes from other nations may also participate such as those from Canada or Mexico.
The top three (3) finishers in each event at the North American Regional qualify for the CrossFit Games.
In addition to competitors participating in an individual capacity, several businesses and gyms will often send teams of athletes to represent them. The CrossFit Games are a great source of pride and competition for these businesses and gyms.

Carleen Mathews: Carleen is one of the top athletes in the world of CrossFit. She has won several competitions in her career and placed highly in a wide variety of events.
Ben Smith: Ben is another one of the most accomplished CrossFit athletes in the world. He has taken first place in a number of events and even won the prestigious CrossFit games in 2011.
Lelise Peets: Lelise was the very first CrossFitter to qualify for the Reebok CrossFit Games on her first attempt in 2011.
Madison Clements: In 2011, Madison became the youngest person ever to qualify for the Reebok CrossFit Games.
Nathan Bramblett: Nathan is another accomplished CrossFitter who has taken first place in a number of competitions.
Patrick Vellner: Patrick is one of the top competitors in the world and finished in second place in the 2013 CrossFit games.
Sebastian Ring: Sebastian is a highly accomplished CrossFitter who has earned several top three finishes in major competitions.
Brent Fikowski: Brent is an up and coming CrossFitter who has already earned a couple of top ten finishes at the regional level. With more experience, he is sure to become a major player in the sport.
The top athletes and teams from around the world will compete for the title of Fittest on Earth.
