They have access to the best doctors, trainers, and steroids available. Do not think for a second you can get the same quality drugs that they do.

Chances are, you don’t and you just rolling the dice when it comes to your life and health. Just Say No!

You may be a little apprehensive about starting a workout routine because you don’t want to end up looking like “one of those bodybuilders.” That is not even possible without drugs.
If you start working out correctly you will feel better about yourself, have more energy, and look great. You will be able to buy clothes that fit better and have more variety.
Not only that, but as your body adjusts to the new you, you will be able to get more enjoyment out of life.
As a bonus, you get a side benefit: women love guys with good bodies! They are more likely to approach you and respect you more.
Just think, you can get all this just by working out? Are you ready to get started?
What Equipment Do I Need? You may be wondering if you need to buy some expensive equipment in order to get a good workout. The answer is no! You really do not need any equipment at all. However, if you want to get something, the most important piece of equipment besides shoes is going to be a set of adjustable dumbbells.
These allow you to change the weight by adding or removing plates. I would advise that before you spend your money on anything else that you get a set of these.
After that, you may want to buy a bench. This is not necessary but very convenient to do chest exercises or anything that requires lying down.
You can use an everyday object like a chair or even the floor but eventually you might want to buy something designed for this purpose.
The third most important item is some sort of a bar to hang weight on, also known as a barbell. You can use this for a number of exercises but the main one is going to be bench pressing.
If you want to increase your range of exercises then you are going to need to buy this.
You may also want to buy some elastic exercise bands. These are really cheap and can be extremely beneficial.
There are several different types of exercises you can do with these however so I suggest you save your money for now and buy them later.
If you want to buy some equipment, the above are the bare essentials. Everything else is just a luxury that you can get later.
Keep in mind that working out should be done primarily for your health and enjoyment not what equipment you own.
What Do I Do?
The first thing you are going to want to do is decide on a set schedule that you are going to follow. Everyone’s schedule is different so you are going to have to choose something that will work for you. Some people like to work out in the morning before they go to work others like to do it after they get home. Pick a time that you will be able to work out at least 3 times per week and stick with it.
You are also going to want to give yourself at least a one month period to see real results. It takes at least this long for your muscles to begin developing so don’t get discouraged if you don’t see any changes after the first week.
Now that you have an idea of what you are going to do, pick out a few exercises you would like to start with. Look back at the list of body parts and choose 3-5 that you would like to start with.
Now that you have those in mind, check out the exercises section to see how to do them properly.
Make sure you are warmed up before doing any of these exercises. This means that you should be active for at least ten minutes prior to lifting any weights.
Jogging in place, jumping jacks and even dancing are all good ways to get your blood flowing and your muscles warm.
Remember that form is just as important as how much you can lift. Make sure that you are not only lifting within your abilities, but that you are also using good form.
This will not only help to prevent injury, but will also help you to get the most out of your workout.
If you are new to working out or it has been a while since the last time you worked out, begin with just the bar or smaller weights and add more as you get stronger. If you try to lift too much weight and you don’t have the muscle to support it, you are going to get injured.
No amount of strength is worth losing your ability to lift at all.
Once you have gone through the learning phase, you can start trying some different things. See which exercises you like best and which ones give you the best results.
Try to vary your workouts so that you are targeting different groups of muscles.
It is also important to take a day off from time to time. Your muscles need time to recuperate after all the work you are putting them through.
Don’t be afraid to take a break every now and then.
Also keep in mind that strength training is not the only way to get in shape. If you want to get in shape but don’t really care for the idea of strength training (or can’t due to other factors), then you might want to check out the cardio section.
One More Tip
Before we get into the different types of exercises you can do, there is one more thing I should tell you. And that is if you decide to start strength training, you are going to want to keep a record of some sort.
Write down your workouts, the weights you used, how you felt that day and any other information you feel is relevant. Not only will this help you to see improvements as they are happening, but it can also be a lot of fun looking back on your notes and seeing just how far you have come.
Strength Training Exercises
There are several different types of strength training exercises that you can do, and the list below describes many of the most common ones. Just remember that there are no rules when it comes to strength training.
The only rule is that you feel comfortable with the exercises you are doing. If you want to try something new, then do so as long as you feel that it is safe for you to do so.
Resistance Band Exercises
These are another great and cheap way to strength train, and they are very easy to take with you on the go. You can get a complete set of these for about $20.
You can do tons of exercises with these. On the website it even shows pictures of many of the most common exercises that you can do.
I definitely recommend looking at those so you know exactly what I am talking about when it comes to these bands.
Some of the exercises involve the assistance of another person, but there are many that you can do by yourself. I mainly use these for when I travel because I can easily pack them into a bag and have access to a full gym worth of equipment.
Also, two people can easily train with each other using these. It just depends on the exercise.
