CrossFit Announces 5 More Sanctioned Events

The first event was the CrossFit Games which took place in late 2016. They are a competition between teams of athletes competing against each other in various fitness related activities. These events include:

1) Open Workouts – these are open to anyone with a gym membership or any level of fitness.

There are no weight classes, age restrictions or anything like that. You just have to show up and do what you want.

2) Regional Competitions – these are regional competitions where the top competitors from all over the world compete against each other in different fitness related activities.

3) National Championships – these are national competitions where the best athletes from all over the world compete against each other in different fitness related activities.

4) World Championship – these are the most prestigious events in the sport of CrossFit.

They’re held at a resort in Florida called WODwell. The winner gets $50,000 and bragging rights for life!

The second event was the CrossFit Games Invitational which took place last year. This event was similar to the Open Workout except it had a few more rules and regulations attached to it. The CrossFit Invitational was a one-time event that was scheduled in December at the same time as the Crossfit Games. The top 40 men and 40 women were all invited to compete for the $1,000,00 prize.

The competition was very similar to the Crossfit games except there was no team competition or affiliate competition and there were no teams, only individuals. The top 10 men and women all got paid but the prize money decreased with each lower finish position. There were 60 total competitors and only 1 winner. The winner of the CrossFit games invitational also won the title “The Fittest Man on Earth.”

The third event is the South East Affiliate League or SECAL. This competition will take place in April of this year. This competition is organized by the top box in South East USA called CrossFit Elevate. The top 5 Crossfit gyms from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee all compete against each other.
