Miranda Oldroyd: How CrossFit Saved My Life
Miranda Oldroyd was born in New York City, but she grew up in Florida. She started training at the age of 17 and worked with CrossFit for several years before starting her own gym called “Oldroyd Fitness”. Her goal is to create a healthy lifestyle through fitness. Mira’s passion for health and fitness has been noticed by many people around the world.
Her story is a great example of how CrossFit helped someone out there.
Miranda Oldroyd was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2012. She had surgery and chemotherapy treatments, but it didn’t work. After months of treatment, she lost all hope and decided to give up on life.
However, after getting into some CrossFit classes, she felt better than ever again!
She continued to train and did not stop until 2014 when she finally got rid of the tumor. Since then, she has kept herself active by participating in various CrossFit classes. She even won a few competitions during her time as a competitor.
In 2015, Miranda started working full-time at the new Oldroyd Fitness Gym in Miami Beach, FL where she still works today!
