Product Review: Paleo On The Go’s BBQ Beef Brisket & Chicken Wings

Paleo On The Go’s BBQ Beef Brisket & Chicken Wings are a great way to enjoy your favorite meatloaf or chicken wings with a side of ranch dressing. They’re also good if you want to serve up some burgers without having to make them yourself! These ribs and briskets come from the same source, so they’ll taste just like the real thing. You won’t even miss the dairy!

The recipe calls for boneless skinless beef ribs, but you could use bone-in ribeyes instead. If you have extra time, you can cook them until they’re almost falling off the bone (or even under it) before adding them to the slow cooker. If not, just leave them in their cooking shells while you prep everything else.

You can serve these with your favorite barbecue sauces, such as Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce , which is one of my personal favorites. I recommend using it along with this recipe. Other popular recipes include the Original Barbecue Sauce Recipe by Food52 . Or try out any other sauce you might have lying around.

Some are vegan friendly and some aren’t. Experiment and see what you like, then stick to it!

Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce is pretty easy to come by if you have access to a Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme, or even a local grocery store with a decent selection of goodies. If not, you can always find it on Amazon .

These are great for parties because they free up the grill for your guests and all of the ingredients can be prepared in advance. Some of these links are Amazon affiliate links, which help support this website. Thanks!

INGREDIENTS:

1 large ranch packet or 2 small (Read the ingredients! They should only have shortening, buttermilk, salt, and spices and be gluten free!)

1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce (See recommendations above)

2 cans cooked barbecue meat or 2 pounds cooked, chopped meat (ribs, pork, chicken, turkey, or brisket all work great. Try different things! It’s easy to make and you can always use the leftovers later.)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Sides: If you’d like to have some veggies with your meal, you can grill up some onions, mushrooms, or bell peppers and toss them in. You can also add some sugar free baked beans for a heartier meal. Finally, for an even heartier meal, you could add some macaroni and cheese.

Slow Cooker: Combine the ranch packet with the barbecue sauce in the bottom of your slow cooker. Add the meat and mix it around so that it’s all covered in sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours. After cooking, drain off any excess fat (there shouldn’t be much) and then serve!

Stove Top: Combine the ranch packet with the barbecue sauce in a pan over medium heat. Add the meat and any additional vegetables and spices you’d like. Cook until everything is hot, stirring occasionally.
