This is my Happy Hour: A Typical Day in the Box
Happy Hour Rules
The happy hour rules are different from one place to another. Some places have no happy hours at all. Other places have happy hours every night except Friday and Saturday nights. Still other places have only Monday through Thursday happy hours. There are many reasons why some bars do not allow customers to drink until 2am, but there is nothing wrong with it if you like it that way!
If you want to enjoy your drinks after 1am, go ahead! You’re welcome to stay up later than others though.
Rules for Happy Hours Near Me
There are several bars around me where I can get a free drink with my purchase. The rules are simple:
You must be 21 years old or older to enter the bar and spend money at any time during the happy hour period.
You may buy a drink for yourself and up to two friends (or up to four friends if you are bringing someone) at any time during the happy hour period.
If you wish, you may bring a friend into the bar while drinking. However, they cannot leave the bar unless they return your purchase. They will not receive a refund either.
You may not consume alcohol outside of the happy hour area without paying for it first.
You may not request a substitute for your drink at any time during the happy hour period.
You may not leave the bar area and return later to take advantage of the happy hour offer.
Some places may not allow you to sell your drink on the street or pass it on to someone else who is not drinking. It is up to you to find out what rules apply in your neck of the woods.
Happy Hour Near Me
There is a place that I’ve been going to quite often for the past few years. It’s a great place, and I don’t even know how I lived without it before I discovered it. I’m talking about happy hour near me. There are many places in town that feature a happy hour. You can walk into most bars or any other drinking establishment during their happy hour hours and get some great discounts on food items and drinks as well.
I’m a simple guy when it comes to food and drinks. I usually just get a diet soda or some tap water to drink and just stick with the snack mix that they have available. The great thing about happy hour is that all of these items are greatly discounted from their regular price so you can save a lot of money if you’re trying to eat or drink on a budget.
The hours for happy hour change from place to place but, for the most part, they are usually either from 4pm to 7pm or from 5pm to 6pm. Since I get off of work at 3pm, I usually try to go somewhere during the earlier hours of happy hour. When I get there, there’s never too much of a crowd and it’s easy to get a seat at the bar.
I’ve gotten so used to the happy hour prices that, if I go somewhere else that doesn’t have these specials, I feel ripped off! If you’re not careful, you could end up spending a lot of money at other places when you could be saving a lot more by going to a happy hour location instead. It’s all a matter of doing the math and seeing if you’re actually saving money in the long run by going to the cheaper place!
With all of the different happy hour places in town, I’m sure that you’re never too far away from one. Even if you live a little ways out of the city, there’s probably still one or two within twenty minutes of your house. Whether you like to drink at dive bars or fancy cocktail lounges, you’re sure to find something that fits your taste within close proximity to wherever you may be!
Since I’ve been going to the same happy hour place for years now, the bartenders and servers all know me. They’re always friendly when I come in and, since it’s not too crowded, they’re able to give me great service. If you go to the same place all of the time, you’ll eventually get to know the staff as well and they’ll remember you when you come in. You just might even develop a rapport with some of them!
The best type of people go to happy hour because everyone is in a good mood and looking to have a good time. If you’re a little shy, this is the perfect opportunity to meet new people without having to do much work at it. All you have to do is just sit back and enjoy your drink.
There are so many different types of happy hours out there. You can choose to go to one that’s geared more towards singles or one that’s a little more on the family side. Some places have great food specials but, other places, the drinks are really cheap. You can even find some places that have both!
Whether you’ve been to one before or this will be your first time, I really hope that you go out to happy hour today!
You might make some new friends or, at the very least, get a little tipsy. Cheers!
